Perma-Fix to Voluntarily Withdraw its Listing of Common Stock on the Boston Stock Exchange; Perma-Fix Common Stock to Remain Listed on the Nasdaq
ATLANTA, June 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Perma-Fix Environmental Services, Inc. (Nasdaq: PESI; BSE: PESI; Germany: PES.BE) today announced that it intends to voluntarily withdraw its listing of common stock on the Boston Stock Exchange. On or about June 19, 2007, Perma-Fix will file an application on Form 25, "Notification of Removal from Listing and/or Registration under Section 12(b) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934", with the Securities and Exchange Commission, which application and withdrawal of listing of Perma-Fix Common Stock on the Boston Stock Exchange shall become effective ten days after the Form 25 is filed. Perma-Fix's common stock will remain listed on the Nasdaq.
Dr. Louis F. Centofanti stated, "This action is being taken as a result of the SEC's approval of the Nasdaq as a national securities exchange and designating securities listed on the Nasdaq Capital Markets, such as Perma-Fix common stock, exempt from state Blue Sky filing requirements."
