ATLANTA and NASHVILLE, Tenn., Dec. 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Perma-Fix Environmental Services, Inc. (Nasdaq: PESI), today announced it is holding its Seventh Annual Nuclear Waste Treatment Forum from December 11-13, 2007 in Nashville, Tennessee at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center. This year's forum will focus on the expanding complexity of nuclear waste treatment. In close collaboration with our customers, Perma-Fix is an innovator in providing treatment solutions for many of the heterogeneous waste streams generated from nuclear power and nuclear weapons development sites.
The Nuclear Waste Treatment Forum is a venue where many of the nation's waste management experts meet to share lessons learned and their experiences for dealing with waste streams and successful completion of clean-up projects. This year's conference brings together an exciting lineup of speakers to discuss innovations in nuclear waste treatment, regulatory issues, and how to cope with competing priorities and shrinking budgets. The last day of the three-day forum will include tours for two of the Company's Tennessee treatment facilities.
